ABOUT ZACH:
Zach Green is a filmmaker, actor, and writer from Austin, Texas. A Chapman University Film Production graduate, his debut short "The Green Family Elbow," won Best NewComer Short at aGLIFF. His feature directorial debut, Foil (2023, Dances With Films) is currently touring the festival circuit.
With an extensive background in theater and comedy, Zach's love for characters and dialogue is always at the forefront of the projects he makes. His stories are comedic, personal, and pay homage to the oft bizarre yet wildly sincere blockbuster films of the 1980s and 90s he grew up idolizing. Stories that balance heartfelt characters in absurd scenarios are what keep him forever craving the opportunity to contribute more, with a loving nod to that era.
His previous acting roles include playing opposite Chris Doubek and Alex Karpovsky in LOVERS OF HATE, which premiered in the Sundance US Dramatic Competition in 2010. He also acted in LOVE & AIR SEX (2013, SXSW) with Zach Cregger, Sara Paxton and Michael Stahl-David and co-starred in Right On (2020) with collaborator Devin O’Rourke. He is a trained voiceover actor with experience recording audio books, radio spots, and character voices. He has also completed The Groundlings Writing Lab and graduated from UCB Improv as well as Second City Hollywood’s Conservatory program.
